fiogf49gjkf0d It's a new year so it must be time for a new avatar. Don't stare too long at it. You might get dizzy!

fiogf49gjkf0d If it is set to cycle 233 times at 1-second intervals, that makes the animation last just under 4 minutes.
Eye know many graphic designers do that intentionally, so the viewers won't go crazy after a while.

|
fiogf49gjkf0d I just had a look at it.... You set it to cycle only 233 times.

fiogf49gjkf0d Ya know, I don't get it. I set it to run indefinitely but for some strange reason it just up and stops. What's up with that?

fiogf49gjkf0d Back when portable CD players were first introduced you couldn't turn them upside down. They were very sensitive to movement of any kind. I waited until Panasonic came out with a player with a pretty good anti-shock function before I even bought one. Even that one had its problems. Of course, nothing beats a portable MP3 player.
I guess it's about time I did something really inventive with my avatars.
Tim P. Ryan Ain't it nice to be able to turn your portable CD player upside down and it still works? Can't do that with LP's to easily.

fiogf49gjkf0d "Well, I listen to my 45s VERTICALLY! (No kidding! I have a Seeburg SS-160 jukebox, and it plays 45s in the vertical position.) - Jman"

And with the right song playing, you can do it in the horizontal position!

fiogf49gjkf0d WOW!!!!!!!
I looked at those while listening to Iron Butterfly upside down and it was really freaky.........

fiogf49gjkf0d That's fantastic! I do get dizzy staring at it. Another avatar I saw on this forum would be great to use:
That one would really make you dizzy.
Looking at this, would be like listening to Black Sabbath at 78 rpm, sideways!

fiogf49gjkf0d WOW! That's like... FAR OUT man!
It makes me want to listen to Led Zeppelin at 78 speed... BACKWARDS man!!
It's 4:20

fiogf49gjkf0d Thanks Marcus.
The simple explanation is to find an animated gif that you want to use for your background. Break the animation down into single gif frames. Import all frames into your Photoshop type program. Then add your foreground picture as the last layer. Then save each frame + your foreground as a single gif file ( one for each frame). Re-assemble the new frames back into an animated gif file. I also resized the frames and played with the colors with my paint program. I don't have Photoshop so I have to use 3 different freeware programs to do all of the above.
